Prince Albert Safe Shelter for Women is an important service that provides temporary shelter, safety, nutrition, transportation, information, referrals, and support to women and children experiencing physical, mental, sexual, emotional, and spiritual abuse.
The PA Safe Shelter for Women currently accommodates 26 residents – a combination of women and their children. This Charity offers protection liaisons to police and victim services. Provide residence with a clean and home-like atmosphere with healthy balanced meals. The residents are provided support by Non-judgmental listening, exploration of choices and options, and assisting women in making connections to meet their needs. Group and individual sessions are given on a wide range of topics. Further referrals are made in case they need support from other communities.
